Recently, I spent a full day with Sharizat Rashid & Lee Solicitors and Advocates, producing a complete photography library for their firm's branding and marketing.
Rather than purchasing generic stock photos featuring western business professionals, the firm wanted photographs that genuinely reflected their own lawyers, workplace and culture.
That makes a huge difference.

The Brief
The assignment covered four main objectives.

Planning everything within a single day meant the firm could update its entire image library without disrupting operations over multiple days.
Morning Session - Individual Lawyer Headshots
We started the day with individual portraits.
Each partner and lawyer was photographed using a consistent lighting setup to maintain a professional look throughout the firm's website.
Consistency is often overlooked.
When every portrait shares the same lighting, background and style, the entire website immediately feels more polished and trustworthy.
Although each lawyer has a different personality, maintaining visual consistency helps reinforce the firm's professional brand.

Once the individual portraits were completed, we moved on to team photographs.

The Challenge - Limited Space
One challenge during the assignment was finding enough room to photograph the entire team.
Like many offices in Kuala Lumpur, meeting rooms and reception areas are designed for daily operations rather than photography.
Stepping further back simply wasn't possible.
High angle group photo to solve small spaces problem
Instead of compromising the composition, I approached the group from a higher position and photographed them using a super wide-angle lens.
The elevated perspective allowed everyone to remain visible while keeping the photograph balanced and natural.
Sometimes the solution isn't finding a bigger space.
It's finding a better angle.
Building a Custom Corporate Stock Photo Library

One of the most valuable parts of the assignment was creating lifestyle photographs throughout the office.

The problem?
